Nicholas Gate enjoys
an elevated position nestling in the hills overlooking Hisaronu and pine
clad mountain ranges. Hisaronu is on a plateau 1,000ft above
sea level and backing onto the pine forest that enjoys conservation status.
Hisaronu is a mere 5min walk away. The village offers a large selection
of shops, restaurants, banks discos and clubs. The Nicholas park hotel is a few mins walk along the ridge along from the apartment which offers a 10% discount on bar and restaurant bills. From here there is a lovely view of the Oludeniz beach. The hotel also offers a complimentary bus service to their private Gene beach every morning and returns you in the late afternoon. The Oludeniz lagoon and the Belcekiz beach are known as “The blue paradise” all over the world due to their natural beauty. Babadag Mountain rises from the beach and is recognized all over the world as a center of excellence for paragliding. The world championships have often been held here. All this only 4km away. There are numerous activities to keep you occupied. There are water sports, paragliding, boat trips, horse riding, quad bikes, trekking, cycling, paragliding, microlite flighing and a wealth of natural beauty, history and architecture to explore. If you do nothing else a boat trip is a must. The coast line is breathtaking. The local buses (Dolmus) are cheap and run frequently
to the Oludenize beach, (4Km)
Fethiye (7Km ) the main market town, Kaya (4km) the ghost town, and a
limited service to the Gemiler beach. A wonderful little beach along
the coast. The average temperature in summer is 30degress Celsius. The cool breezes off the sea and the mountain air make the hot summer months very comfortable.
